HSCN Onboarding

Overview

Onboarding a new UK HSCN customer involves all the standard RaaS onboarding steps plus HSCN-specific connectivity setup.

The HSCN-specific steps that come on top of a standard RaaS deployment are:

  1. Provision the HSCN VPN — Connect to Redcentric (the HSCN aggregator) via a site-to-site VPN from the customer VPC. See VPN Operations
  2. Configure Transit Gateway — Attach the customer VPC to the Transit Gateway (shared with the management HSCN stack)
  3. Request HSCN IPs — Redcentric assigns IP ranges from the HSCN address space. See Redcentric for the contact process
  4. Firewall rules — Submit firewall change requests to Redcentric for the customer's source IPs. See Firewall Rules
  5. Connectivity testing — Validate end-to-end HSCN connectivity. See Connectivity Checks
  6. DSP Toolkit compliance — Ensure the customer's Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission covers the new connection
